Now for Chapter Forty: Introducing your 2024 Day Camps Locations
2024 is a big year at WinShape as we turn the page to our 40th summer of camp. Our story has just about everything you can imagine. There have been decades of laughter, fun and adventure. While we’ve hosted hundreds of thousands of campers, our story is just getting started.
Our next chapter will be one to remember as we transport campers into the pages of one really big story with our theme ‘The Wonder Chronicles.’ Every good story needs a few key elements including characters, a plot, and the perfect setting. You may be asking yourself, just where in the world is WinShape Camps this year? Well – we’ve got some exciting news for you! Now introducing: your 2024 Day Camps locations!
The Mysterious Swamplands
Nothing quite sets the scene of a mystery novel like murky swamp lands. Humid. Muggy. Shaded. It’s the perfect location to lose something in the depths while worrying about what creatures may be nearby. While we’ll be close to some swamps, we’ll make sure camp is on dry land with plenty of sunshine as we visit cities like Casselberry, Gulf Breeze, and Ponte Vedra in the great state of Florida. Not to mention Mobile in lower Alabama. And you can’t talk about swamps without thinking about the waters near Lake Charles, Louisiana.
A City in the Forest
Some of the most fantastic stories take place deep within the woods. Whether you’re visiting a furry-toed people who dwell in grassy hills or you’re seeking safety in nature from a powerful icy queen, the forest is a place of refuge and retreat. Our hometown of Atlanta is often referred to as a city in the forest because of the nature surrounding it. This year, our day camps locations are also surrounding Atlanta as we make stops in Fayetteville, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Mcdonough, and Snellville.
Roaming Plains
If swamps are for mystery and forests for retreat, nothing says adventure like the roaming plains in the middle of the country. We’ll visit plenty of locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area such as Midlothian, Colleyville, or Richardson, TX. And Texas aren’t the only plains ripe for exploring, we’ll also visit Las Cruces, New Mexico, Elizabethtown, KY, and Milford, NE.
A Desert Oasis
Maybe one of the most famous places for storytelling is located near the desert. You may not think of many stories that take place in a desert, but California is the epicenter of epic storytelling and camp is coming back to the Los Angeles area. We’ll host campers in Redlands, Montclair, and Riverside California.
A Library Full of Stories
While we’ve named quite a few perfect settings for the 40th chapter of camp to play out this coming summer, this list doesn’t even scratch the surface. This story will play out in SO MANY places across the country in just a few short months. Check out this page to see if we’re coming to a city near you and we can’t wait to jump into The Wonder Chronicles with you this year.
