2026 Camp Prayer Calendar
Summer at camp is more than games, songs, and sunshine—it’s holy ground.
It’s a place where campers take their first brave steps away from home. Where summer staff discover the joy and purpose of serving others. Where friendships are formed that often last far beyond the summer. Most of all, it’s a place where young hearts encounter Jesus in ways that shape their lives long after camp ends.

As we look toward Summer 2026, we believe that the best way to prepare for and protect these holy moments is through prayer. From the first moments of Staff Training to the final family pick-up, our desire is for every cabin, every conversation, and every Camper to be covered in prayer.
Whether you’re a parent, former Summer Staff, host church partner, a volunteer, or simply someone who loves camp ministry, we invite you to join us in praying over this summer. Your prayers matter—and they truly make a difference.
🗓️ Camp Prayer Calendar
To help guide our community in prayer, we’ve created a daily Camp Prayer Calendar that aligns with what’s happening across WinShape Camps throughout the summer. Each day includes a focused prayer prompt aligned with what’s happening at camp—whether that’s praying over the first day of a new session, lifting up a specific staff role or team, or praying over the Campers, staff, families, and the very grounds we're walking on.
How to Pray for Camp this Summer
If you’re looking for additional ways to pray throughout the season, here are a few key areas to focus on:
Pray for Campers
• For Campers to feel a sense of belonging and excitement from the start.
• For Campers to feel seen, known, and deeply loved.
• For Campers to have the courage to try new things and push past fear or insecurity.
• For Campers staying away from home for the first time—that they would feel safe, supported, and excited.
• For Campers to believe the truth about who God says they are—chosen, loved, and made with purpose.
• For Campers to encounter Jesus—some for the first time, others in new and powerful ways.
• For Campers to leave camp with confidence, joy, and a heart full of God’s truth.
• For Campers to form lifelong friendships during their time at Camp.
• For Camper safety in every activity, from the pools and lakes, to the fields and rock walls.

Pray for Summer Staff
Counselors & Team Time Leaders: For energy, patience, endurance, flexibility, and the desire to lead and love like Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit would fill our Summer Staff so they can serve from an overflow, not an empty tank.
Lifeguards, Equestrian Staff, and other Specialty Positions: Pray for alertness, safety, and servant-hearted attitudes. Ask God to help them see deep purpose in their behind‑the‑scenes roles.
Village/Pack/Squad/Club Leaders: Pray for the Summer Staff leading our various culture groups across camp locations. Pray for wisdom and strength as they lead Staff and create meaningful Camper experiences.
Worship Teams & Worship Speakers: Pray for Spirit-filled preparation and moments of transformation during worship. Pray for boldness, clarity, and compassion as Worship Speakers present the Gospel to Campers. Pray that they would lead out of an overflow of what God is doing in their own hearts this summer.
Media Staff: Pray for creativity, endurance, and that they would feel purpose and passion for the work they are doing.
Healthcare Workers & Camp Nurses: Pray for clarity, calm, and compassion as they care for the physical and emotional needs of Campers and Staff.
Pray for Parents
• Pray for peace for parents as they drop off their kids, especially first-timers.
• Lift up parents who may be missing their Campers while they are away.
• That they, too, would be encouraged in their own walk with the Lord this summer.
• Ask God to stir curiosity in parents and families as they see a transformation in their kids.

Pray for God’s Glory
• For God to be glorified through community.
• For God to be glorified through our theme, Ascend.
• Pray that God would be glorified through laughter and silliness.
• For God’s glory in moments of chaos – that His presence would be evident through peace and wisdom when plans change.
• Ask God to use the work of every team – seen and unseen – to advance the gospel.
• That God would be glorified in the words and actions of Campers & Summer Staff.
Pray for Support Staff
• Pray for strength, endurance, and safety for the Support Staff who work faithfully behind the scenes to make camp possible.
• That Support Staff would feel seen, valued, and encouraged, recognizing the essential role they play in serving Campers and families.
• Pray that God would give support staff clarity, focus, and unity as they serve across multiple locations, teams, and responsibilities.
• That every interaction, task, and detail—whether visible or unseen—would be done with excellence and point others to Christ.
• Pray that Support Staff would experience joy and purpose in their work, knowing God is using their service to advance His kingdom.
🙌 Join Us in Covering Camp in Prayer
We believe that every meal shared, every song sung, every new skill learned, and every story told around a campfire can be a holy moment when it’s covered in prayer.
This calendar is simply a guide—an invitation to weave prayer into the rhythm of your days. Set reminders. Pray with your family. Lift up a cabin on your morning walk or a Staff Team during your commute.
