Paper Airplane Competition
Who can fly the farthest? This rainy day challenge is simple (but serious!). Design, decorate, and compete in a paper airplane showdown that’ll have the whole family soaring with excitement.Instructions: • Place Painters Tape on the ground to mark the Start Line.• Construct your paper airplanes!• Compete to see who's paper airplane can fly the furthest. Mark your landing spots with painters tape.What you'll need:

Paint Pet Rocks
Every kid needs a pet… rock. (Right?) These low-maintenance buddies are easy to make, full of personality, and perfect for turning a rainy day into a sunny one — at least in spirit!What you'll need:
- ✔️Clean rocks (from the yard or craft store)
- ✔️Acrylic paint or paint pens
- ✔️Googly eyes (optional)
- ✔️Paintbrushes
- ✔️Paper Towls


Make Your Own Candy
Rainy days are sweeter when you make your own treats! Try this simple Rock-Candy Recipe for hands-on fun and a tasty reward.Instructions: • Bring two cups of water to a boil in a large pot on the stove.• Stir in four cups of sugar. Add flavor enhancements. Continue stirring until completely dissolved• Allow the solution to cool for 15-20 minutes.• Wet the wooden sticks and roll them around in granulated sugar. Make sure you sticks are completely dry before continuing.• Once the sugar solution is cool, add in food coloring to create rock candy of your preferred color.• Pour your cooled solution into a glass jar (or jars) and insert the wooden stick into the center of the glass. Make sure that the stick is not touching any part of the jar.• Secure the stick in place using a clothespin. Cover the top of the glass with a paper towel.• Place the glass in a cool and quiet place. Rock-candy will reach it's maximum growth potential by two weeks.What you'll need:
