Because the journey isn’t over.

This summer, you joined us on a bold adventure to explore God’s unwavering faithfulness through the life of Peter. You learned how to follow Jesus, trust Him in stormy waters, and step out with boldness to share His story. And here’s the good news: this journey doesn’t stop on the last day of camp. Following Jesus is a daily adventure—and He’s leading you into every new classroom, cafeteria, and carpool line.

So grab your water bottle, backpack… and your Daily Truths. It’s time to set sail again.

He is Still the Captain

Here’s the thing: life outside of camp can feel a little… uncharted. New grade, new teachers, maybe even a new school. The waters ahead might seem unfamiliar. But just like Peter learned, we don’t have to fear what’s next when we’re following Jesus.

He knows the way.
He’s in the boat.
And He’s never letting go.

Even when you feel like you’re drifting, Jesus is your anchor. He’ll guide you with love and strength, no matter how wild the waves get. So when your days feel uncertain or overwhelming, pause and remind yourself—Jesus is still in control. He’s faithful to calm the storm or carry you through it.

A Map for The Journey

Exploring something new can be exciting and intimidating. Maybe you feel ready to face the school year head-on… or maybe you wish you could hit the snooze button on it altogether. But just like learning to sail, you don’t have to know everything to start the journey. Step by step, Jesus will guide the way.

When you mess up—He restores.
When you feel unsure—He makes you bold.
When you’re worried—He gives peace.

The same truths that you learned at camp are the truths that we hope will guide you through your entire school year. You may not know every twist and turn ahead, but you can trust the One who does.

So keep your eyes on Him. Listen for His voice. Trust His faithfulness.
And remember—your journey has just begun.

1. Which Daily Truth from camp stuck with you most? How can you live it out at school this week?
2. What does it mean to follow Jesus into the unknown? What “uncharted waters” are you facing right now?
3. How does knowing God is always with you—both in calm and stormy seas—change the way you handle challenges?
4. Is there something that’s making you feel anxious or unsure? What would it look like to surrender that to Jesus today?

We’re already counting the days until we’re back at camp with you. But until then, we’re cheering you on from the shore and praying big things over your school year.
