Introducing your 2026 Camp Theme | Ascend ⛰️

At WinShape Camps, we are committed to serving our Campers and their families through every aspect of camp; and our camp theme is no exception! By the time Campers show up for camp one summer, we are already well on our way to planning an amazing camp theme for the next summer.  

This preparation happens through a team of WinShape Camps full-time staff members from all different camp programs. As we plan for each summer’s camp theme, we FIRST seek the Lord for our ultimate leadership. We ask for His guidance as we select a theme that will be relevant, powerful, and engaging. Our goal is to meet Campers and families where they are and show them something in God’s word that can impact their life for the good! 

For Summer 2026, we’re heading to higher ground—where Campers will meet with our holy and personal God. Just as mountain peaks lift our eyes to something higher, meeting with God changes our perspective. Campers will be reminded that God isn’t distant; He’s personal and present, inviting us to know Him and walk with Him each day.

Together, we’ll lift our eyes to the One who made the mountains and discover the joy of seeing life through His eyes.

Have you ever stood on top of a mountain? It is incredible! From way up high, your perspective changes; you can see things you couldn’t see from down below. Meeting with God can give us a similar change in perspective. We learn about who He is, who He says we are, and how to walk with Him in every moment. Encountering God changes everything.

Throughout the Bible we see encounters where God invited people to meet with Him on a mountain, not to just see a great view, but to be with Him. The most holy God invites people, including you, to know Him personally.  You, yes you, are seen, known, and loved by the holy God of the universe.
