In the dawn of a new day on the slopes of Lavender Mountain, the way of the WinShape Wilds has fallen upon this sacred ground. Where Packs roam and shape the land we look to learn and lead like the wildlife the Lord has provided.
Divided up by completed grades, each Pack has its own unique identity and forges its own trail with a new group of campers each summer. Out of this Pack will come friendships, memories, and lifelong lessons built through the bonds of brotherhood. Each Pack has its own colors, signs, and chants that your camper will know like the back of their hand by the end of camp.
Bronco Pack
Completed 1st-2nd Grade Campers
Free-spirited and unbroken by the world, Broncos roam the grasslands with an endurance and care-free joy. Joy that comes from the Lord giving them unbridled delight and a noble strength that is forged through challenges.
Raptor Pack
Completed 3rd-4th Grade Campers
Brave and courageous in the air, the Raptors soar across treetops with a tenacity that's faithful to their pack. Faithfulness marks this creature, and they have a vision for the future that allows them to stand the test of time.
Timber Pack
Completed 5th-6th Grade Campers
Devoted to the pack, Timbers roam the deep forest with a calm wisdom and deepening loyalty no matter the outcome. Wise in the words of the Lord, the call to love your brother is not only heeded by the Timber but demanded even under the darkest moon.
Puma Pack
Completed 7th-8th Grade Campers
Fierce determination unmatched in the wild, Pumas lurk and lay in patient wait in the forest for their true provision. Provision brought by the peace and understanding that the Lord alone provides so that Pumas may find their true strength.
Grizzly Pack
Completed 9th-11th Grade Campers
Dauntless and bold in the face of all adversity, Grizzlies control the forest floor through a fierce presence and steady strength. Their strength comes not from size alone but from devotion of the heart and the desire to protect the lands they walk.
Elk Pack
Completed 10th-11th Grade Campers Adventure Program
The Adventure Program (Elk Pack) is offered at our Mount Berry Campus to campers who like to spend most of their time outdoors and have completed 10th and 11th grade. These campers are out of camp the majority of the session, except for the middle weekend and the last few days of the session. The Elk Adventure Program is offered all four Sessions. Campers can look forward to participating in fun and rigorous outdoor activities, such as backpacking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, rock climbing, repelling, caving, and camping. Campers will sleep in tents, cook over a campfire, filter their own water, and will not have access to restrooms/showers while on the trails. If they prefer, campers have the option to bring a hammock to sleep in. Campers interested in this program should be in good health and have the ability to participate in these physically demanding activities. While offsite, campers will carry a backpack between 35 to 45 pounds while hiking up to 2 miles daily. The weight range of the backpack will depend on what each camper packs and a portion of group supplies that each camper will help carry such as food and general camping supplies. Additionally, the Elk Pack will canoe for 5 miles one day and for 13 miles another day. WinShape Camps has the right to decline a camper for the Adventure Program if they are unable to meet the physical requirements associated with this program. However, campers of this age group could register for the Grizzly Pack at Mount Berry.
