Camp-Wide Events
If you haven't heard, WinShape Camps for Boys at Cleveland specializes in big-time, over-the-top moments. One of the ways we make your camper's experience spectacular is with our Camp-Wide Events! Made fresh-to-order each summer, these events happen every night of camp and will be some of the moments your camper won't stop talking about. Below, you'll find out what events we're doing this summer so you can make sure you pack everything your camper might need.
2022 Camp-Wide Events

Opening Show
WELCOME TO CAMP! We are about to blast off into the stars and into an incredible week! We’ll start with an afternoon of fun games, silly videos, and an introduction to the wonderful truths that we will be diving into throughout the week. Our great hosts will get to share a few guidelines with our new cadets that will make camp safe and the summer of a lifetime!! What to Wear: Whatever you wore as you arrived at camp.
Induction Ceremony
Blaze, Hydro, and Quake. Three ancient Squads from centuries past. While they come together each summer to battle for control of the WinShape Kingdom, their ties run deep. At our Induction Ceremony, only those receiving their Squad or who are active members are welcome. We’ll have the chance to share the legend behind how our Squads were formed and then allow first-time campers the opportunity to be inducted. What to Wear: We encourage campers and staff to wear their Squad colors! Red & Yellow for Blaze, Blue & Silver for Hydro, and Green & Brown for Quake. There will be plenty of Squad SWAG that you can grab from the Camp Store during Check-in on Spectacular Starting Sunday!
Monday FunDay
Water is the name of the game for this Camp-Wide Event. Whether you’re at the outdoor pool, bouncing and sliding on giant inflatables, or something in between, you’ll be sure to get SOAKED throughout the morning. So, pack your tropical swim trunks, goggles, and anything else you need to have fun in the sun! What to Wear: Wear your best tropical themed swim trunks, plus anything else you might want for some fun at the pool.
Over Time (Jr. Camp Only)
Watch for the BUZZER-BEATERS! The clock has run out, but we’re still playing! Will you have what it takes to make the best trick shots in the WinShape Kingdom? We’ve got oversized games that everyone loves! From the court to the field, campers will get to show off their skills and celebrate with every SWISH and GOAL! What to Wear: Campers can come dressed in athletic attire or put on their favorite jerseys from any sport or team.
Fear Island (Sr. Camp Only)
It’s a competition like you’ve never seen! Courage and ferocity will be tested as our senior campers compete to win more tokens for their Squads. Each challenge will take some strategy and an eagerness for fun as we take on adventurous and thrilling surprises! What to Wear: We encourage you to wear your Squad colors to support your team as we compete for more tokens to win the Squad Cup!
Game On
Camp has now traveled through Mario’s warp pipe, and we have entered into a real-life arcade where your favorite games are no longer on a screen, but right in front of you! Everywhere around are the characters that you’ve played with time and time again. Jump into each level and play great games that were once on your screen and are now all around you! What to Wear: Come dressed as your favorite video game character! Or wear what you wore that day and be ready to show off your best Fortnite dances!
Ignite
Tonight, we’ll meet you exactly where you are. Join us as we gather together in a high-energy worship service and dive deeper into what it truly means to have a one-on-one relationship with our Creator as we explore truth and discover freedom!What to Wear: Whatever you wore that day!
Squad Wars
All week the three Squads of the WinShape Kingdom have been competing in our Daily Challenges, and now we get to join in one final battle for it all – SQUAD WARS! Join the rest of your brothers from the Squad you call home as you defend your base and try to take down the opposing Squads with sawdust-filled socks. As a camp favorite, you won’t want to miss this night! What to Wear: Campers can come dressed in camo shirts and pants, or even a ghillie suit! Of course, your Squad colors are never a bad choice for any event as well!
Rock the Block
Put on your best dancing shoes! After a long and fun week, we are going to celebrate with the biggest dance party in all the WinShape Nation! This neon dance party will be under the stars and blacklights. Our best DJs have come to crank up the music and let the lights go wild to make this end of the week celebration UNFORGETTABLE! What to Wear: Wear any neon shirts or headbands you have to shine against the black lights! This will be the night to break out your glowsticks and celebrate!
