Here at Mount Berry we have the privilege of hosting Sunday Nite Live during every camp session where we bring in a woman who is using her gifts to bring glory to God. This woman could be writer, athlete, musician, beauty pageant winner, etc. S.N.L. has been a long-standing tradition at girls camp, and every message given has truly been a huge encouragement to all of our campers and staffers year after year. Some of our past guests include: Christy Nockels, Barlow Girl, Jamie Grace, Francesca Battestelli, Ellie Holcomb, Miss America 1995, Meredith Andrews, Bethany Dillon and the Daraja African Children’s Choir. We had the pleasure of having Kari Jobe lead us in worship for our first Sunday Nite Live of the summer, and it was nothing short of amazing! The girls really loved her, and the time spent together echoed all of the truths they were learning throughout the week. This summer we are focused on being Anchored with Christ, and our first truth states: “Our purpose we will find when deep friendship with God is yours and mine.” Kari’s song The More I Seek You is a perfect reflection of the importance of seeking after the Father in order to fully experience the love and friendship He wants to give.
The more I find you
The more I find you, the more I love you.
I want to sit at your feet
Drink from the cup in your hand.
Lay back against you and breath, feel your heart beat
This love is so deep, its more than I can stand
I melt in your peace, its overwhelming.
